Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful and rare early Victorian strainer or gravy spoon, made by William Eaton of London, c-1845. The spoon is of large basting spoon size and has been produced in the popular Kings pattern, being of exceptional quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The strainer divider has some movement owing to how it was installed, which could be permanently set should the new owner desire. The spoons is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 90% overall. A rare spoon in a rare pattern - it doesn't get much better than this.
The spoon measures 31.5cm (12.5") long, and weighs in at an impressive 229gms unpacked.
