Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Victorian seven-piece sterling silver egg and salt spoon set, made by Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cater of London, c-1845. The set includes six egg spoons and one salt spoon being produced in the delightful Albert design, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (a couple of bowls minorly misshapen, nothing too serious). Each spoon features a well executed crest to the face, with the hallmarks about 80% overall (maker worn to salt spoon). A fine set of 19th century silver spoons in a hard to find pattern and shape.
The spoons measure 13.5cm and 11cm long, with the set weighing in at 224gms unpacked.
