Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful and rare set of twelve Victorian sterling silver teaspoons, made by Peter Aitklen I of Glasgow, c-1841. The set has been produced in the popular Queens pattern (single struck), being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no damage to note. The set features a matching and well executed monogram to the face, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. An attractive set of mid 19th century Scottish sterling silver spoons for the collection.
The spoons measure just over 15cm long, with the set weighing in at 214gms unpacked.
