Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Victorian pair of sterling silver large sauce ladles, made by Chawner & Co under the direction of George William Adams of London c-1851. The set has been produced in the seldom seen Albert design, being of exceptional quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The set features a well executed crest to the face, with the hallmarks about 90% overall. A very attractive set of 19th century sterling silver for the collection.
Each ladle measures 18.5cm long, with the set weighing in at a respectable 166gms unpacked.
