Here today for your consideration we have this impressive set of Victorian sterling silver fish servers, made by James Howden & Co of Edinburgh, c-1852. The set includes a knife and fork and has been produced in the Thread & Shell design, being of exceptional quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (a couple of minor bumps to the handles - nothing too serious). The set features a well executed crest to one side of the handles, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A fine set of mid 19th century Scottish sterling silver fish servers for the collection.
The knife and fork measure 31cm and 23cm long respectively, with the set weighing in at a respectable 357gms unpacked.
