Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Victorian sterling silver teaspoon or christening spoon, made by Chawner & Co under the direction of George William Adams of London, c-1852. This wonderful piece features a decorative stem with acanthus leaf detail, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (minor depressions evident to the bowl). The spoon features a well executed but near-faded monogram to the verso, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A very fine piece for the collection.
The spoon measures 15.5cm long and weighs in at 32gms unpacked.
