Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful pair of Victorian sterling silver salt cellars, made by George John Richards & Edward Charles Brown of London, c-1859/1860. This lovely pair features a tri-footed multi-step support and bright cut decoration with floral and leaf themes with central cartouche. Condition is reasonably good, with one having a pinprick through the base near a foot join (refer photos). The set is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 90% overall. A very fine and attractive set of Victorian salts for the collection.
Each piece stands 4.5cm tall with a maximum diameter of 8cm. Unpacked, the set weighs in at an impressive 175gms.
