Here today for your consideration we have this fantastic Victorian sterling silver christening mug, made by Samuel Greenberg of Birmingham, c-1862. The mug is of barrel shape with engraved detail and beaded handle, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The mug features a well executed dated presentation to the cartouche, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A very attractive mid 19th century English sterling silver mug for the collection.
The piece stands 10cm tall and has a diameter of 7cm at the rim. It has a comfortable capacity of 250mls and weighs in at a respectable 161gms unpacked.
