Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful Victorian sterling silver sauce ladle, made by Chawner & Co under the direction of George William Adams of London, c-1862. The piece has been produced in the popular Fiddle, Thread & Shell design, being of exceptional quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The ladle features a well executed crest to the face, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. An attractive piece of 19th century English silver for the collection.
The ladle measures 18cm long and is 6cm wide across the bowl. Unpacked, it weighs in at 85gms.
