Here today for your consideration we have this superb mid Victorian sterling silver dessert spoon, made by Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cater of London, c-1863. This lovely spoon has been produced in the popular Fiddleback design, and is of excellent gauge and quality. Condition is good used, with damage limited to the usual superficial scratches from normal use. The spoon is free from crest or monogram, with the hallmarks being about 90% overall (the maker starting to fade). A nice spoon to add to or complete the collection!
The spoon measures 18cm long and weighs in at 51gms unpacked.
