Here today for your consideration we have this superb mid Victorian sterling silver dessert spoon, made by A B Savory & Sons under the direction of William Smily of London, c-1864. This lovely spoon has been produced in the popular Fiddleback design, and is of excellent gauge and quality. Condition is good used, with damage limited to the usual superficial scratches and some minor depressions to the bowl from normal use. The spoon has a tasteful monogram to the front, with the hallmarks being about 80% overall (the maker starting to fade). A nice spoon to add to or complete the collection!
