Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Victorian sterling silver christening knife, made by Chawner & Co under the direction of George William Adams of London, c-1871. The knife features a beautifully bright cut handle and blade to both sides, being of very good quality throughout. Condition is reasonably good, with a bit of disturbance to the tip of the blade evident. The handle features a well executed monogram to one face, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A charming 19th century full sterling silver knife from one of the most prominent London makers of the time.
The knife measures just over 19cm long and weighs in at 42gms unpacked.
