Here today for your consideration we have wonderful Victorian sterling silver and cobalt blue glass mustard pot, made by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd of London, c-1873. This beautiful piece features a barrel base with exaggerated bright cut rim and shell finial. The gauge and quality of this piece is superb throughout, with the silver and glass free from major damage. The pot is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks being about 80% overall. A very attractive piece for the collection.
The pot stands 7cm and has a maximum diameter of 7cm. Unpacked, the piece weighs in at 257gms with the sterling silver accounting for 154gms of this.
