Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Victorian sterling silver mustard pot, made by Henry Holland of London, c-1878. The pot is of oval form with beaded rims and fitted blue glass liner, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The blue glass liner is well fitted and free from chips or cracks, with the hinged lid sitting flush to the base. The piece features a well executed though fading monogram to one face, with the hallmarks about 60% overall (starting to fade). A good quality 19th century English sterling silver mustard pot to add to or complete the cruet set.
The pot measures 10cm x 5.5cm (inclusive of the handle) and stands 7.5cm tall. Unpacked, it weighs in at 216gms, with just the silver frame accounting for a generous 129gms of this.
