Here today for your consideration we have this fantastic Victorian boxed pair of sterling silver pepper pots, made by Henry Wilkinson & Co of Sheffield, c-1880-1881. The set is of urn shape with square plinth bases and wreath and fluted detail, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The set features a well executed monogram to one facing, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. The original G. E. Buston retailer box is of fabulous shape and in fairly good condition, with hinge and clasp working as intended. A fine set of 19th century English sterling silver for the table.
Each pot stands 8.5cm tall, with the set weighing in at 87gms unpacked (or 255gms including the case).
