Here today for your consideration we have this very nice Victorian sterling silver large christening mug, made by John Kilpatrick of London, c-1881. The mug is of bloomed finish and features a scene of seven bright-cut children with remnant gilt detailing, being of exceptional quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The mug features a presentation to one face for (assumedly) the original owner, with the hallmarks about 90% overall. A fantastic 19th century sterling silver mug for the collection.
The mug stands 9.5cm tall and has a diameter of 7cm at the rim. It has a capacity of 250mls and a generous weight of 159gms.
