Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful and rare Victorian sterling silver combination photo frame and cigarette case, made by Deakin & Francis of Birmingham, c-1886. This excellent piece features hip-shaping, with the top cover hinged and containing the spring loaded front cover. Internally the piece is fully gilt, with an oval picture frame completing the piece. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (a few knocks and dents to corners evident). The face features an incredibly detailed crest (Murray family), with the hallmarks about 90% overall. A highly unusual and incredibly beautiful case for the collection.
