Here today for your consideration we have this superb Victorian sterling silver christening set, made by Hilliard & Thomason of Birmingham, c-1887. The set has been produced in the Old English Bead design and is of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with the end of the knife handle being somewhat depressed (refer photos). The knife features a well executed presentation to the blade, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A beautiful and practical set for the collection.
The knife and fork measures 17.5cm and 15.5cm long respectively, with the set weighing in at 56gms unpacked.
