Here today for your consideration we have this fantastic Victorian sterling silver cigarette case, made by Deakin & Francis of Birmingham, c-1888. The case is of hip shape with plain detailing and gilt interior, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with a few very shallow depressions to note throughout (nothing too serious). The quality button clasp is in good working order, with the gilding still retaining some lustre. The case is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks in very good order. A fine late 19th century English sterling silver cigarette case for the collection.
The case measures 8.5cm x 7cm and weighs in at 87gms unpacked.
