Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Victorian sterling silver sewing thimble, made by S Blanckensee & Son of Birmingham, c-1888. The thimble features an all-over dotted design with thick rim at the opening, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The piece is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A very nice late 19th century sterling silver thimble for the sewing enthusiast.
The thimble has an overall diameter of 17mm and stands 24mm high. Unpacked, it weighs in at 5gms.
