Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Victorian solid 9ct yellow gold triple-bar brooch, featuring an oval cut amethyst with ball and swirl adornments, c-1890's. The brooch is of good quality construction and design, with the amethyst of nice colour. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (a few shallow depressions to the gold in places, nothing too serious). The pin holds good tension within the catch, with the brooch hallmarks fully worn or never struck (tested and guaranteed throughout). A most attractive 19th century amethyst brooch in solid gold.
The amethyst measures 10mm x 8mm and has an estimated weight of 1.70cts, with the brooch measuring 45mm long overall. Unpacked, it weighs in at 2.97gms.
