Here today for your consideration we have this fantastic Victorian sterling silver large sugar or serving bowl, made by Walter & John Barnard of London, c-1893. The bowl is of Georgian styling with invert swirled fluting to the body and fanned joins to the feet, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The bowl is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 90% overall. A versatile and high quality late 19th century English sterling silver bowl for the collector.
The bowl stands 6.5cm tall and has a diameter of 13cm at the rim. Unpacked, it weighs in at a respectable 196gms.
