Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Victorian sterling silver fish eaters cutlery set, made by Mappin & Webb of Sheffield, c-1896. The set features bright cut blades and tines with understated handles, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (some minor discolouration to handles, a couple of warped tines). The set is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 90% overall. A fine and useful set of English sterling silver for the collection.
The knives and forks measure 22.5cm and 19cm long respectively, with the set having a generous combined weight of 409gms.
