Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful turn of the century sterling silver cruet set, attributed to Broadway & Co of Birmingham, c-1897-1900. The set features extensive repousse detailing and includes two pepper/salt pots and a hinged-lid mustard pot, being of good quality and gauge throughout. The piece is in good used condition, with no major damage to note (some minor salt corrosion here and there, nothing too serious). The set is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. The cobalt blue glass liners are original and fairly well fitted, with no chips or cracks to note. A very fine and attractive cruet set in precious sterling silver.
The pepperettes and mustard pot stand 6.5cm and 5.5cm tall respectively. Unpacked, the set weighs in at 166gms, or 81gms without the liners.
