Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Victorian two-piece sterling silver dessert cutlery set, made by Walker & Hall of Sheffield, c-1897. The set has been produced in the popular Old English Thread design, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is reasonably good, with the handles sustaining a few shallow depressions throughout and some minor separation to the knife handle (tight to the blade). The knife handle features a well executed crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A delightful turn of the century English sterling silver dessert knife and fork for the collection.
The knife and fork measures 22cm and 18.5cm long respectively, with the set weighing in at 105gms unpacked.
