Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Victorian sterling silver tablespoon, made by John Pope Genge of Jersey, c-1898. This lovely spoon has been produced in the popular Fiddleback design and is of very good quality and gauge, featuring bright cut detail to the face. Condition is fair used, with the spoon having a few mild depressions, some tip wear and a 5mm tight split at the rim (refer photos). The spoon is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks being about 80% overall. A nice one to add to the collection.
The spoon measures 22cm long and weighs in at a respectable 84gms unpacked.
