Here today for your consideration we have this fantastic Victorian sterling silver boxed teaspoon set, made by William Devenport of Birmingham, c-1898. The set includes six small teaspoons, a strainer or sifter ladle and a set of sugar nips, each with shell bowls, twisted stems and apostle detail to the tips. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note to the silver. The set is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. The two covers of the box are separated (repairable with a discrete strip of tape) and the exterior is a bit shabby, with the velvet and clasp in good order. A very attractive set of late 19th century English sterling silver spoons.

Each spoon measures just over 10cm long, with the boxed set weighing in at 254gms. The silver accounts for 58gm of this weight.
