Antique Victorian 1898 Sterling Silver Cigarette or Small Card Case Hip Shape

Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Victorian sterling silver cigarette or small card case, made by Henry Matthews of Birmingham, c-1898. The case is of hip shape and plain design, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is fair used, with a few bumps throughout and and a small split to the front cover. The interior is of matte finish with the clasp closing nicely. The case features a fading presentation to the face, with the hallmarks well struck. A versatile and good quality sterling silver case for the collection.

Closed, the case measures 8cm x 5.5cm. It weighs in at 61gms unpacked.
