Here today for your consideration we have this fantastic Victorian solid 9ct yellow gold fob medal, made by Vaughton & Sons of Birmingham, c-1899. The medal is of shield shape with bright cut detail and raised central crest decorated with enamel, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The medal is beautifully inscribed to the verso, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A wonderful gold medal for the collector, or add a bail and wear as a striking statement pendant.
Including the jump ring, the medal measures 44mm x 29mm and weighs in at a generous 6.53gms.
