Here today for your consideration we have this fantastic Victorian solid 18ct yellow gold brooch, made by West & Son of Dublin, c-1880. The brooch is of single bar design, featuring turquoise and seed pearl-studded clovers/shamrocks with mine-cut diamond accents, being of very good quality throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to the stones or gold to note. The pin holds good tension within the catch, with the brooch without hallmark (tested and guaranteed 18ct gold throughout). The original box is in great condition, with hinge and clasp working as intended. A beautiful 19th century Irish gold brooch for the collector.
The brooch measures 38mm long across the face and weighs in at 4.30gms unpacked. Boxed, the set weighs in at 20.31gms.
