Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Victorian solid 18ct yellow gold twin-row dress ring, adorned with rose-cut natural rubies and diamonds, c-1880. The rubies are of lovely colour with the diamonds catching the light very well for their size, with the setting being understated and of good quality. Condition is fair, with the ring missing one ruby and one diamond on opposite sides (per photos). The ring is without engraving and is hallmarked to the interior of the band. A wonderful 19th century ring with precious stones in high carat gold.
The overall setting measures 12mm x 6mm with the vacancies having diameters of 1.5mm. The band is sized a US 5.5, UK K and EU 50. Unpacked, it weighs in at 2.80gms.
