Here today for your consideration we have this lovely vintage sterling silver over-cup tea strainer and bowl set, made by H H Silverware of Sheffield, c-1954. The strainer is twin tabbed and features filigree piercing with the bowl of stepped form, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The set is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A useful mid century English silver set for the collection.
The strainer measures 10.5cm x 6cm at the rim, with the bowl standing 3cm tall. Unpacked, the set weighs in at 91gms.
