Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful vintage sterling silver drinks salver, made by David Lawrence Silversmiths of Birmingham, c-1967. This superb piece was presented to S. R. Banks from Bowmaker (Plant) Limited for work contributed to the Indus Basin Project of Pakistan/India from 1962-1965. It features a detailed but shallow map engraving to the centre with a very attractive Celtic-themed rim. Condition is good used, with damage limited to a pinprick or two and some scratched from normal use. The hallmarks are crisp and clear under, with the gauge of silver and quality of this piece being exceptional. A practical piece of silver for the collection.
The salver stands just over 1cm tall and has a diameter of 25cm at the rim. Unpacked, it weighs in at a very respectable 521gms.
