Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Art Deco solid 15ct yellow gold bar brooch, featuring a central European-cut diamond in platinum setting, flanked by sterling silver leaf detail c-1920's. The quality is very good throughout, in both design and construct. Condition is good used, with no damage to the stones or setting (diamond bezel is slightly askew, possibly moved during original soldering). The gold pin holds good tension within the catch, with the brooch hallmarked to the reverse. A very nice early 20th century gold and diamond brooch to wear as-is, or talk with your jeweller about a possible conversion to a stylish ring.
The diamond has a diameter of 2.5mm and an estimated weight of 0.06cts, with the brooch measuring 54mm long. Unpacked, it weighs in at 3.28gms.
