Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful antique solid 9ct yellow gold brooch, made by Wendts of Adelaide, c-1930. The brooch features a large oval cabochon malachite against triple splayed bars, being of very good quality throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The cabochon is free from major wear, with the pin holding good tension within the catch. A beautiful early 20th century Australian gold brooch for the collector.
The malachite cabochon measures 25mm x 18mm and has an estimated weight of 27.85cts. The brooch measures 60mm long and weighs in at a respectable 9.54gms unpacked.
