Here today for your consideration we have this superb antique solid 9ct yellow gold brooch, made by Star Brothers of Brisbane, c-1915. The brooch features the colour patch in enamel for the 20th Battalion which was part of the 5th Brigade, 2nd Division (NSW). Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The enamel is without loss, with the pin holding reasonably good tension within the catch. A fantastic historical brooch in solid gold from World War I.
The brooch measures 50mm long and weighs in at 3.79gms unpacked.
