Here today for your consideration we have this superb antique solid 9ct yellow gold sweetheart brooch, featuring the enamel colour patch of the 31st Infantry Battalion, 5th Division, 8th Brigade (QLD) with attached boomerang. Condition is reasonably good used, with no losses to the enamel. The boomerang has a few depressions, with the pin holding reasonably good tension within the catch. A fantastic historical brooch in solid gold from World War I.
The brooch measures 38mm long and weighs in at 2.43gms unpacked.
