Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful turn of the century sterling silver card case, made by an unidentified maker of likely American origin, c-1900. The case is of plain design with gilt interior, having chatelaine loop to the top and quality latched closure. Condition is reasonably good, with one corner having a dent and minor split and the finish having a few scuffs (a dedicated buff or polish may enhance presentation). The case is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks in good order. A fine calling card case for the collection.
Not including the chatelaine loop, the case measures 87mm x 63mm. It weighs in at 56gms unpacked.
