Here today for your consideration we have this superb vintage solid 800-grade silver oval serving bowl, being of the Indonesian Yogya style, c-1950's. This wonderful piece features the popular lotus flower motif throughout and has extensively crafted pattern and form, with hammered base and melon feet. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (a good clean may enhance presentation). The bowl is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks clearly struck to the underside of the rim. A fabulous and large piece of genuine Yogya silver for the collection.
The bowl stands 7cm tall and measures 28.5cm x 21.5cm across the rim. Unpacked, it weighs in at a respectable 383gms.
