Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful vintage boxed set of six gilt sterling silver demitasse or small tea spoons, made by William Suckling Ltd of Birmingham, c-1954. Each spoon features coloured enamel to the backs of the bowls with seal ends, being of good quality throughout. Condition is good used, though there are a few losses to the enamel in places and some wear to the gilding (per photos). Each spoon is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. The box is a little shabby, with hinges requiring some work and clasps working as intended. A fabulous set of mid century sterling silver spoons for the collection.
Each spoon measures 9.5cm long, with the boxed set weighing in at 232gms unpacked. Excluding the box, the spoons weigh in at 58gms.
