Here today for your consideration we have this lovely vintage boxed set of six sterling silver coffee or small tea spoons, made by Turner & Simpson of Birmingham, c-1956/1957. The set is of multicoloured/harlequin enamel design, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with a few losses to the enamel to a couple of spoons (per photos). The set is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. The set would have been originally fully gilt, with some traces remaining. The box is a little shabby but complete, with hinges and clasp operating as intended. An attractive mid 20th century set of sterling silver spoons for the collection.
The spoons measure 9.5cm long, with the boxed set weighing in at 207gms unpacked. The silver accounts for 60gms of this weight.
