Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful vintage solid 14ct yellow gold hinged bangle, made by Nils Westerback of Finland, c-1957. The bangle is of D-profile and oval shape and unembellished styling, being of exceptional quality throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The bangle is of thick gold construction, but there is a possibility it may have some wax inside (not visible from either end though; impossible to determine without cutting into). The finish is free from depressions of dents, with the hinge and clasp working as intended. The bangle features a nicely executed dated monogram to the interior, with the hallmarks in good order. A beautiful and useful mid century European bangle in solid gold.
The profile measures 12mm wide with the interior and exterior of the bangle measuring 60mm x 53mm and 68mm x 60mm respectively. Unpacked, it weighs in at an impressive 23.32gms.
