Here today for your consideration we have this fantastic vintage solid 9ct yellow and rose gold brooch, made by Ivan Tarratt of George Tarratt Ltd of Birmingham, c-1960's. The brooch takes the form of a hawk with beautifully detailed enamel head and textured gold body, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The gold pin holds good tension within the safety catch, with the hallmarks starting to fade but still present (date letter worn). A beautiful mid 20th century solid gold brooch from a collectible English jeweller.
The brooch measures approximately 34mm x 28mm across the face. Unpacked, it weighs in at a respectable 6.85gms.
