Here today for your consideration we have this very sweet vintage sterling silver thimble, made by James Swann & Son of Sheffield, c-1979. The thimble features a repeating floral pattern to the top section, being of good quality. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The hallmarks are well struck, with the opening maintaining original round form. A very nice mid century English silver thimble for the collector.
The thimble stands 23mm tall and has a diameter of about 16mm at the opening. It weighs in at around 6gms.
