Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful pair of vintage solid 14ct yellow gold French screw-back earrings, each featuring an oval-cut pink sapphire. The quality is very good, with the screws operating smoothly and the backings hallmarked (tested to confirm purity). The stones are in reasonably good order, though one does have a small and stable fracture to the back (per photos). An attractive set of gold earrings for the collection.
The sapphires measure 12mm x 9.5mm and have an estimated combined weight of 10.94cts. Unpacked, the earrings weigh in at a respectable 6.30gms.
