Here today for your consideration we have this lovely vintage sterling silver christening mug, made by Sanborns Hermanos of Mexico, c-1940's. The mug is of barrel shape with plain handle and rolled rim, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (a few minor depressions here and there, nothing too serious). The mug is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks well struck to the base. A very attractive mid 20th century Mexican sterling silver mug from a prominent silversmith of the time.
The piece stands 6cm tall and has a diameter of 6.5cm at the rim. It has a comfortable capacity of 150mls and weighs in at a respectable 101gms unpacked.
