The brooch is in of nice proportion and quality, with no condition issues to note. The pin is securely held within the safety clasp, with a gilt metal safety chain added for peace of mind. The brooch is hallmarked 14k 585 but tests slightly lower at 12ct gold, and is guaranteed as such. A very sweet moonstone brooch in solid gold.
The moonstone measures 16mm x 6mm and has an estimated weight of 2.65cts, with the brooch measuring 30mm long. Unpacked, it weighs in at 5.10gms.
