Here today for your consideration we have this fantastic vintage solid 14ct yellow gold dress or cocktail ring, featuring a scissor-cut hematite gemstone in a wide claw setting, as made by AWA of Finland. The quality is very good, with the ring hallmarked internally and with a shallow YS engraving to the interior of the band. The stone has a few minor surface scratches visible under a loupe, but is free from any major facet wear or chips. A lovely European solid gold ring with a moody and eye catching hematite gemstone.
The hematite measures approximately 16mm x 12mm and has an estimated weight of 8.65cts, with the band being sized a large US 14, UK Z3 and EU 72. Unpacked, it weighs in at 6.65gms.
