Here today for your consideration we have this fantastic vintage solid 14ct yellow gold cocktail ring, featuring a large rectangular-cut vivid natural purple amethyst within four-claw setting. The quality is very good, with the ring hallmarked internally and without engraving. The amethyst shows some internal stressing and feathering and is slightly loose within the claws, but well held nonetheless. A bold statement ring in solid gold.
The amethyst measures approximately 17mm x 14.5mm and has an estimated weight of 14.70cts, with the band being sized a US 7.5, UK O and EU 55. Unpacked, it weighs in at 10.87gms.
