Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful vintage solid 15ct yellow gold bar brooch, featuring a round cabochon-cut moonstone bezel set against a thick and vibrant gold bar. The quality is very good throughout, with the brooch of lovely size and proportion. The cabochon has a few minor surface scratches from use (most visible under a loupe), with the solid gold pin holding good tension within the catch. The brooch is hallmarked PK18 near the pin, but tests at just over 15ct gold and is guaranteed as such. A very fine moonstone brooch in solid gold to wear as-is, or speak with your jeweller about conversion into a delightful dress ring.
The moonstone has a diameter of 11mm and has an estimated weight of 3.46cts, with the brooch measuring 42mm long overall. Unpacked, it weighs in at 3.18gms.
